So this is the route: all the way through the Balkans, The least dangerous way is go via Macedonia, which is on the brink of a civil war. In Serbia the refugees have to make a choice: go over Hungary and take the chance of having your fingerprints taken of via Austria. The latter is further away and takes 2 borders to cross: through Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia.
